Description
This blue smoothie bowl is sweet, refreshing, and so easy to make! Combine blue spirulina powder, bananas, and almond milk to create a healthy vegan breakfast or afternoon snack.
Ingredients
3 frozen ripe bananas, peeled prior to freezing
1–2 tsp blue spirulina powder
2 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)
2/3 cup plant-based milk
Instructions
1. Add ingredients to a blender.
2. Blend ingredients until smooth. You may need to add more liquid if you do not own a powerful/high-speed blender.
3. Transfer to a bowl and add your favorite toppings.
Notes
Be sure to use frozen ripe bananas. Remove the peels and store them in a ziplock bag in the freezer for up to 1 month.
Use more or less liquid depending on your blender. More liquid = thinner consistency.
